Privacy Policy

This policy explains how information is handled when people use WovenOS on the web or in the mobile app.

Effective October 5, 2026

Who controls workspace information

WovenOS is operated by BYT Management LLC. Most information in WovenOS belongs to the business or other organization that provides your account. That organization decides who may access its workspace and how its business records are used. BYT Management LLC processes that information to provide WovenOS and to follow the organization’s instructions.

If you use WovenOS through an employer, contractor, customer, or other organization, that organization may have its own privacy notices and may manage, retain, export, or delete its workspace records.

Information we handle

Account and contact information

Name, business email, phone number, job title, organization, account identifiers, authentication records, permissions, and support communications.

Workspace and project information

Projects, customers, schedules, daily logs, drawings, specifications, photos, videos, files, notes, approvals, purchasing, financial records, communications, and audit history entered by authorized users.

Device, usage, and diagnostics

Device and app version, browser type, IP address, timestamps, feature interactions, notification identifiers, crash reports, performance data, and security events.

Optional device information

Camera or photo-library content, microphone recordings for video or dictation, and precise location for jobsite or field features—only when you use the feature and grant the relevant device permission.

Connected services

Information you or your organization choose to connect from services such as email, calendars, contacts, maps, banking, payment, CRM, and file providers. The information depends on the connection and permissions selected.

AI-assisted content

Prompts, selected workspace context, generated drafts, confidence and provenance records, and feedback when an authorized user invokes an AI-assisted feature.

How we use information

We do not sell personal information. We do not use WovenOS workspace information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

When information is shared

Information may be available to authorized members and guests of your organization, according to workspace roles, project access, distribution lists, and record-level permissions.

We use service providers to operate WovenOS, including hosting, authentication, storage, email delivery, maps, push notifications, analytics, diagnostics, and AI processing. They receive information only for the service being provided and are subject to their agreements with us or your organization. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect people or the service, in a business transaction with appropriate safeguards, or when you or your organization directs us to share it.

Optional integrations may send information to and receive information from the provider you select. Those providers also handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Optional project text messages

Saving a phone number does not subscribe you to messages. When you subscribe, we record your number, workspace, messaging channel, opt-in and opt-out events, and provider receipts so we can honor your choice. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Providers that deliver and support the messaging service may process this information to provide it. See the SMS terms for enrollment, STOP and HELP instructions.

Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide WovenOS, satisfy the organization’s contract and settings, protect the service, and meet legal, accounting, safety, construction-record, dispute, and audit requirements. Retention varies by record type. Financial and audit records may be retained for seven years, and construction project records may be retained for ten years after final completion, or longer when a contract, law, or legal hold requires it. Short-lived recovery copies expire on a controlled schedule.

You may request deletion of your WovenOS account and applicable personal information. After identity verification, BYT Management LLC will process the request within 30 days, subject to information that must be retained for legal, security, contractual, or legitimate business-record purposes. Shared company records may be preserved or de-identified so they remain accurate for other authorized users. Deleting the app does not delete your account or server data.
